Jake Kindrachuk

Jake is an experienced finance executive specializing in private equity and direct investing in privately-held companies, business valuation, analysis of key financial business drivers, capital structures (debt and equity) and debt financings.

Before founding Village Family Capital, he was with Endeavour Capital, a private equity firm based in the Northwest with $1.5 billion under management, where he was an investment professional. During that time, he helped screen, structure, negotiate and diligence direct equity investments and worked closely with portfolio companies, directly with senior management and at the Board level. Prior to Endeavour, Jake was with Lincoln International, a Chicago-based investment banking firm, where he advised on mergers and acquisitions for middle-market companies in a wide variety of industries, within Lincoln’s Chicago and Frankfurt offices.

Jake earned his Bachelor of Sciences in Mathematical Business, Magna Cum Laude, from Wake Forest University. He is a past chair and board member of the non-profit Camp Fire Columbia, which partners with local kids, schools and families to build caring, confident youth and future leaders, and is a founding member of XRAY.FM, which is a non-profit radio station in Portland. In addition, he is a mentor for Built Oregon, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to become the conduit for a diverse, sustainable and impactful consumer product ecosystem in Oregon and currently serves on the Board for KairosPDX.

Jake enjoys skiing, hiking and cycling throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Sean is an experienced finance executive specializing in strategic planning, leadership, governance, business valuation, analysis of key financial business drivers, capital structures (debt and equity), and debt financings.

Prior to joining VFC, Sean was a Senior Vice President with Bank of America Merrill Lynch (“BAML”) in Portland, where he advised clients on all aspects of their capital structures and business activities while in a credit management role. While at BAML and previously when he was at Bank of the West / BNP Paribas, Sean developed a deep background and understanding of various business models and industries, having underwritten over $5.0 billion in various credit transactions in the past two decades for those institutions.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and a minor in Macro Economics from Oregon State University. Sean was a graduate of a formal commercial credit training program early in his career and completed the Leadership Certification Program at Bank of the West / BNP Paribas. Sean is a licensed investment professional previously holding his Series 7 and 66 licenses (inactive). Sean is the past Board Chair for the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette area and active Board member of Financial Beginnings Oregon. Sean is also a mentor with XXcelerate, a not-for-profit organization that supports women entrepreneurs and he volunteers in various capacities with Oregon State University College of Business.

In his free time, Sean enjoys golfing, running, cooking, and woodworking.

Mary has 15 years of driving business results as a highly adaptable, organized and efficient operator with a strategic business sense. She has the ability to balance the needs of partners, investors, business associates, and community members in a highly adaptable, entrepreneurial, and a creative way. She is a problem solver who thrives on challenges and the opportunity to make a difference. She always gives 100%, continuously improving processes, systems, and approaches.

She is known for her authenticity, engaging personality and nurturing relationship management skills with an intuitive understanding of people and their needs. She is mindful, levelheaded, and has exceptional work ethic and integrity.

Before joining Village Family Capital, she was the Chief Operating Officer at Meriwether Group, prior to that she held a position at Lewis & Clark Law School, and served as a paralegal assistant in the local law firm, Stoll Berne.

Mary earned her Bachelor of Arts from Willamette University in English and Spanish and is an active board member for FACT Oregon, a local non-profit that empowers Oregon families experiencing disability in their pursuit of a whole life by expanding awareness, growing community, and equipping families.

She enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and traveling to see her family in Colorado, Illinois, North Carolina and Florida.
